2018 Pinot Noir - Rheinhessen (750mL)
A cool climate Pinot, beautiful, fresh, and enticing. Robust aromas of baking spices with hints of charred wood blossom into delicate flavors of black currant and dried cherries. The hand-picked grapes in this bottle were fermented in open tonneau by native yeasts and aged for 18 months in French barrels on the family estate of our growers and co-winemakers, Nico and Laura Espenschied, who practice sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking.
